The Role 

MSM HigherEd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced academic professional to join our team as the AVP Academics. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the academic programs and initiatives, with a focus on Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) and Pathways programs. The AVP Academics will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and relevance of the programs and drive innovation in academic delivery.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead the development and implementation of academic programs, with a focus on PPPs and Pathways programs
  • Develop, manage and maintain huge revenue streams and business volume.
  • Ability to develop and foster a high performing team.
  • Ensure the programs are aligned with the strategic goals and objectives of MSM Higher-Ed
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Ensure the academic programs are of high quality, innovative, and relevant to the needs of students and industry partners
  • Manage the budget and resources allocated to the academic programs, ensuring they are being utilized effectively and efficiently
  • Oversee the academic delivery and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs through regular review and assessment processes
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive innovation in academic delivery
  • Represent the organization at relevant industry events and conferences and build the organization’s profile in the academic community

Who We’re Looking For: 

  • A master’s degree or PhD in education or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in academic leadership, with a focus on PPPs and Pathways programs
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing academic programs, with a track record of delivering high-quality and relevant programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team and resources effectively
  • A deep understanding of the current and future trends in academic delivery and the ability to drive innovation in the field
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and resources
