Taylor Pro College provides employment-focused programs for career-oriented students, preparing them for in-demand industries in Canada. Known for its excellent Driver Training programs, the college has since expanded to provide business administration, office administration, tourism and hospitality, and social work programs to help students gain global skills to build their careers. The college’s academic programs are authorized by the BC Private Training and Institutions Branch and received an Education Quality Assurance (EQA) designation.

 

About the Role:

 

The CGO is technology savvy, creative and an innovative leader with an entrepreneurial spirit that drives strategy, planning and goal setting resulting in the dynamic growth of Taylor Pro College as a world leader in short term entertainment and skills building online programming for trainees of all ages.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • To develop, maintain and execute Taylor Pro College’s vision for growth (of business and impact), owning the evolution and activation of its vision with a goal towards a shift from start towards investor based expansion.
  • To assist with the business development strategy and roadmap for Taylor Pro College, and provide leadership in sales strategy domestically in Canada and internationally.
  • To analyze revenue streams, offerings, and relationships to optimize the business growth and revenue strategy for Taylor Pro College.
  • To identify innovative ways to scale up and grow business, secure new revenue sources, new markets, new partnerships and create business development impact;
  • To provide ongoing consultation and advice on project, brand, operational, procedural and any other business matter relating to Taylor Pro College.
  • To create, manage and oversee an Taylor Pro College international business development team as required;
  • To be responsible for Taylor Pro College business revenue generation by leading a business development team to achieve their key performance indicators, metrics, milestones and revenue objectives;
  • To track and report on progress and success;
  • To develop, create and coach a top-notch and successful revenue sales team to achieve short-and-long term goals leading to expanded reach and mission alignment impact.
  • To lead and monitor a business development team to attain and embrace Taylor Pro College’s core values and leadership principles: Innovation, Integrity, Excellence, Inclusion, Teamwork, and Inspiration.
  • To build solid relationships and rapport with 3rd party stakeholders as may be needed for the strategic advancement of theTaylor Pro College, and to inspire investment and build partnerships with key partners, clients, government bodies, corporations and institutions;
  • To ensure value proposition continuity through the sales process and customer interactions are measurable and relay insights:

 

  1. To the marketing and sales team to improve value propositions, campaign messages, channel selection and budget allocation.
  2. To drive idea generation that influences new product development that will drive new and repeat customers.
  • To ensure products deliver the value customers have been promised and expect and relay customer experience insights to optimize acquisition, activation, revenue, retention, and referral in the recruitment funnel.
  • To establish a budget that ensures marketing, sales, and products allow for promotion experimentation while achieving business revenue and profit objectives. Utilize insights to mitigate wasting money on activities which are not moving the business towards management growth goals.
  • To utilize data derived from customers buying products and extrapolate insights optimizing business growth and profits.

Strategize with the MSM VP Government Relations to promote Taylor Pro College at the various government levels.

  • Endeavor to achieve all key performance indicators as assigned by the executive.
  • To represent Taylor Pro College at business, political and social events, as required to promote the interests of the company.
  • to work with the MSM Executive team to add support in other areas and assist with other company projects and initiatives, as needed.
  • To perform any and all duties that are reasonable and that are customarily performed by a person holding a similar position in the industry or business of Taylor Pro College, or other duties as may reasonably be requested by the executive.

 

Compensation:

 

  • Salary range: $80,000 – $100,000 CAD annually
