This is a highly influential role within the company that requires you to spearhead campaigns and initiatives to promote the business in India.
The Role
The Director, Brand and Marketing will take the lead in the organization’s marketing strategy, planning, high-level coordination, and overall implementation. The Director for Brand and Marketing will take care of creating comprehensive marketing and go-to-market strategies for MSM to win new customers, increase engagement for current ones, and promote overall branding and image.
What You’ll Do:
- Creating and Forecasting budget with ability to execute project plans, manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads and manage individual/team budgets.
- Be the Owner for the P&L.
- Leverage an approach to constantly improve results and increasing the impact of marketing on revenue and profitability
- Nurture and Develop a strong team under you with winners attitude, to ensure smooth task functioning and closures.
- Create MSM’s marketing strategy and annual marketing plans, create a calendar of campaigns and events, set the marketing budget, and analyze the international education landscape and our competitors
- Collaborate in the creation of comprehensive go-to-market strategies to win new customers and increase engagement for current ones
- Work with internal and external teams to build and launch an integrated brand experience across all MSM channels, including the edtech portal, websites, social channels, events, and multi-channel campaigns
- Work collaboratively with all verticals, units, and departments of MSM to ensure integration and alignment of initiatives and to drive brand awareness in the internal environment
- Monitor shifting consumer mindset, market trends, competitive landscape and customer feedback to uncover insights that inform strategic marketing direction and increase marketing effectiveness
- Set KPIs and define measures of success, reporting on results and providing recommendations for continual improvement
- Create structure and definition around complex and/or ambiguous business problems and challenges faced by the organization on an ongoing basis
- Participate in project planning to help teams identify objectives, deliverables, work efforts, and project timelines
- Maintain project documentation and communicate timely updates of status, achievements, and potential challenges to the business leadership team
- Act as a team champion, pitching in on special projects as needed to support all areas of brand and corporate marketing
- Spearhead digital and experiential marketing;
- Establish MSM as a strong brand amongst agents and students all over the globe;
- Create and hold agents’ and students’ events both online and offline;
Who We Are Looking for:
- Minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in Branding and Marketing, with 5 years experience in International Education
- Master’s degree, MBA or any other related field, strongly preferred
- Fluent in the English language
