Franchise Manager

The Role

MSM is seeking a highly aggressive Franchise Manager who will be responsible for sales processes, from initial solicitation to contract completion. This includes identifying and sourcing prospective new franchisees, monitoring pipeline maintenance, and adhering to sales processes. Must passionately represent the brand(s) and be able to ethically coach prospects through the discovery process, financing resolution, and market development.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for franchise development and business development
  • Responsible for the launch and development of the franchisee as per the agreed terms and conditions
  • Identify and research potential markets to launch new franchisee and advise CEO/Board of new opportunities
  • Screen potential franchisee by analyzing investment requirements, franchisee’s potential, and financials, franchisee experience and vision
  • Responsible for the launch and development of the franchisee as per the agreed terms and conditions
  • Ensure the financial performance and revenue targets of the franchisee is achieved through analysis of its Profit & Loss and KPIs
  • Work as point of contact between the franchisee and the franchisor, and ensure that any issues/concerns are aptly and timely addressed
  • Support the day-to-day management of franchise.
  • Advice and support franchisees with all areas of their business including: store standards, stock management, customer relationship, staffing and recruitment, finances and payments, cost control, expansion
  • Assist with the development and implementation of franchisee specific business plans and goals
  • Responsible for increasing admissions in all developed franchise and business partners
  • Must carry out company policies in developed franchise and business partners
  • Lead a team to develop a franchise
  • Oversee the training of their respective team members
  • Ensure that franchisee and its staff are trained enough to provide the service experience in line with Company’s customer policies.
  • Maintain the franchise brand and be responsible for brand integrity in all released marketing material
  • Finalize the deal with franchisee by negotiating terms and conditions of each franchisee agreement
  • Selecting and developing new franchisees in the identified geographies
  • Identify industry trends and analyze competitor behavior to further grow the franchise
  • Prepare franchise contracts and ensuring its compliance
  • Prepare and execute the marketing strategy for Company’s opportunity by attracting newer franchisees
  • Develop the budget for franchise development. Monitor and ensure that budgets are met
  • Ensure franchisor suggested systems/ processes are deployed & practiced in the franchisee
  • Develop sales and marketing tools, work out on sales promotional activities to support the franchisees
  • Ensure that Company’s brand is communicated and maintained in all franchisee communications and marketing activities
  • Develop the franchise audit plan and conduct the audits
  • Ensure that the franchisee is in compliance with legal and statutory policies and procedures
  • Ensure franchise agreement renewals, fee/ payment collection, and keeping franchise agreements up to date with current legislation.
  • Ensure that franchisee and its staff are trained enough to provide the service experience in line with Company’s customer policies.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration
  • 8 + years of experience in franchise management, business development, or related fields
  • Experience in working with management
  • Must have experience working for an education institution, particularly for higher education
  • Knowledge of franchise development for education institutions
  • Experience in generating leads and maturing it for franchise development for education institutes
  • Knowledge in finance and stock market will be an advantage
  • Should have good verbal and written communication skills to convey the business strategy
  • Should have strong persuasion skills to manage franchise owners
  • Should be skilled in the policies and procedures as needed for franchising
  • Must have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Must have finance and computer literacy
