MSM is looking for a Manager – People & Culture, Canada who will be a champion of MSM’s culture and values while lending strategic and operational expertise to the MSM team on all people-related matters.


Manager – People & Culture is someone who can implement strategies to increase diversity and inclusion within the organization and implement initiatives for employee engagement and retention.


Strong interpersonal and communication skills are must-have traits while a strong foundation in the education field or educational technology sector is desirable. The role requires a true ‘people person’ with a sincere passion for supporting great teams and helping them thrive within the bigger community.


What You’ll Do

  • Hire company personnel in Canada and overseeing international HR operations
  • Implement organizational goal deployment with vision and value deployment that leads to more  employee engagement
  • Review, create, and implement an HR Standardization Process that leads to smooth Employee Relations
  • Lead HR projects like compensation plans revisions
  • Research and advise management on the implementation of  functional HRMS and databases across all departments and locations
  • Oversee payroll and performance evaluation systems
  • Implement and coordinate new company policies and procedures
  • Manage internal communication projects (like job satisfaction surveys)
  • Measure the effectiveness of company benefits program and recommend refinements
  • Coordinate employee training and development initiatives
  • Ensure our record-keeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements

Who We’re Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management, Organizational Communication, or any related field
  • Work experience in HR Operations or similar role for no less than 3 years
  • With experience with Human Resources Information Systems including payroll tools
  • With experience in Extended Health benefits programs
  • Has knowledge and skills in talent management and acquisition
  • Has skills in organizational development, performance management 
  • Has good knowledge of employment legislation in Canada
  • International experience is preferred
