The Role
MSM is looking for a qualified, organized, passionate, and committed Manager- Training and Strategic Alliances. The role holder will be required to develop a framework for expectations of assigned Partner(s) to expand the business.
The Manager of Training & Strategic Alliances will play a key role in developing and implementing a comprehensive training and strategic alliances strategy for MSM. This includes building relationships with key partners and stakeholders in the international education industry, designing and delivering training programs, and identifying and evaluating new opportunities for strategic alliances, partnerships and collaborations.
The Manager is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of the MSM’s training and strategic alliances activities, managing the department’s budget for training and strategic alliances activities, and staying up-to-date on trends and developments in the international education industry.
The Manager is also responsible for collaborating with other departments and organizations within the institution to develop and promote international education initiatives, representing the department at external events and meetings and increasing the department’s visibility and reputation in the international education industry.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training and strategic alliances strategy for MSM.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders in the international education industry.
- Design and deliver training programs for MSM staff and partners to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality services and programs.
- Identify and evaluate new opportunities for strategic alliances, partnerships and collaborations to enhance the MSM’s offerings and reputation.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase the MSM’s visibility and reputation in the international education industry.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of the MSM’s training and strategic alliances activities, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments and organizations within the institution to develop and promote international education initiatives.
- Manage the department’s budget for training and strategic alliances activities.
- Stay up-to-date on trends and developments in the international education industry to ensure the MSM remains relevant and competitive.
- Represent the department at external events and meetings.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as education, international studies, business, or marketing.
- A master’s degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.
- At least 5-10 years of experience in training and strategic alliances management, preferably in the international education industry.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful training programs and strategic alliances.
- Strong knowledge of the international education industry and current trends and developments.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of the cultural and language nuances for target audiences in different regions.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting.
- Experience in supervising and mentoring teams.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate data to inform decision-making.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
