University of Charleston (UC) is an independent, co-educational residential university with two principal locations in West Virginia – the main campus in the state capital of Charleston and a second location in Beckley. It is unique in offering a performance-based curriculum focused on specific outcomes, determined to be essential abilities every student should have for a lifetime of learning and opportunity.
