Capilano University (CapU) is the newest MSM Higher Ed Pathways Founding Member. It is the first Canada-based higher education institution to join the Global Consortium, joining other Founding Members based in the United States, New Zealand, Australia, Scotland and the UK.
As a Founding Member, Capilano University joins other Founding Member institutions who will articulate the pathway curriculum to be carried out at MSM Higher Ed delivery centres. The goal is to carry this out in the next two years in over 50 cities around the world.
“The MSM Higher Ed Pathways program provides an opportunity for international students to begin their academic journey from their home countries, before completing it at an institution based in a destination country of their choice. They can earn their degrees in higher education institutions in multiple study destination countries, and now includes Canada,” said Donna Hooker, MSM Higher Ed President.
Capilano University joins seven other Founding Members from the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Scotland namely, the University of Charleston, Frostburg University, Hartwick College, Hawai’i Pacific University, Griffith University, Lincoln University and Queen Margaret University.

CapU is now part of the MSM Higher Ed Pathways Global Consortium. Part of the role of being a Founding Member is contributing to the Pathways program through quality assurance reviews, taking in a steady stream of competent international students, and becoming part of Foundation studies and recruitment initiatives. As an exclusive Founding Member, Capilano University also enjoys tapping into the enhanced global education network MSM Higher Ed provides.
