FRED SIEGEL ANNOUNCEMENT BANNER (1)

Fred Siegel Joins MSM’s US Advisory Board

M Square Media (MSM), a leading provider in the international education sector, announces the appointment of Fred Siegel as a member of its US Advisory Board.

Siegel is a higher education veteran and consultant who has 40 years of experience leading enrollment management, admissions, and student affairs offices at top universities across the United States. He held key positions including director of admissions (Boston University), assistant vice president for enrollment management and director of admissions (GWU), associate provost for enrollment services (University of Delaware), and vice provost for student and enrollment services/dean of students (Claremont Graduate University).

“MSM adheres to the same principles I follow in my professional life,” Siegel said. “Global awareness, collaboration, and quality service – these are vital components of a world-class education, and I look forward to working with MSM to promote the same principles in its mission of bridging the gap between colleges and universities and students around the world.”

Among Siegel’s notable accomplishments is his work directing several offices  at the University of Delaware, which was instrumental in the university landing its largest freshman classes in history within two years and achieving a 40% increase in applications within six years.

A partnership he helped finalized between the University of Delaware and Hankuk University also enabled UD to become the first public university to participate in the Common Application, a college application shared by member institutions and uses a holistic review process that takes into account the applicant’s account grades, SAT/ACT scores, essays, extracurriculars, letters of recommendations, and other factors.

“We are honored to welcome Fred to our Advisory Board,” said Sanjay Laul, MSM CEO and Founder. “His expertise in developing strategies to ramp up student applications and enrollment at universities is a great fit for MSM’s goal of helping institutions win at international recruitment.”

Dr. Alex Parnia, MSM President for the US, said: “Fred joins us at an exciting time as US institutions continue to offer students a high level of mobility and remain at the forefront of internationalization in higher education. His advice and ethical approach to the education business will be invaluable assets for us.”

With Siegel’s appointment, MSM’s US Advisory Board now consists of six members, including Renee Martinez, Dr. Dewayne Frazier, Dr. Dan Carey, Dr. Mark Schulman, and Dr. Ed Johnson. Learn more about the MSM US Advisory Board
