Start of the MSM Journey

Within our logo is a stylized ‘2’ that denotes our uncanny ability to immediately double progress and development, thus promising growth in squares.
Enclosed in a box colored in red, the first in its spectrum, the MSM logo showcases its deep ties in thought leadership and immediate, actionable strategies.
MSM began as a spin-off of a conventional education agency. Sanjay saw a need in the market: with their limited resources, remote institutions in Canada found it so difficult to increase their international student enrollment.
One evening in Sanjay’s house in Ahmedabad, India, he proposed to a visiting college official, Shelley Nickel of Northern Lights College in British Columbia, the business model he had in mind. “Appoint us as your country office and we will manage all the on-ground promotions. A dedicated team is ready.”
Shelley had faith in the idea and upon her return to Canada pitched it to her executives. Then the MSM journey started.

M Square Media Timeline

MSM signed up its first client, Northern Lights College in BC, Canada, starting its student recruitment services while being operated as the proprietorship of Founder Sanjay Laul
We signed up Selkirk College, a community college in BC
January 4, 2016 - MSM was officially incorporated pursuant to the laws of the Province of British Columbia as M Square Business Solutions Inc.
MSM facilitated a public-private partnership (PPP) and tri-party agreement with St. Lawrence College and Canadian College
We became the largest player in the Canadian international education space, managing global and country offices of 20 public and not-for-profit institutions
MSM launched its International Advisory Board to serve as a body of mentors and guides for our global endeavors, growth roadmap, and compliance
We expanded in the United States market by signing up the Community Colleges of Spokane
MSM launched its USA Advisory Board
We launched MSM Higher Ed, our campus management division that demonstrates our strength in PPPs and articulation agreements to help students pursue their desired careers or progress onto the world’s leading universities
We opened our UK division with the appointment of our two Vice Presidents for the UK, Andrew Disbury and Jo Nesbitt
MSM named a finalist in the PIEoneer of the Year award at The PIEoneer Awards 2020
MSM ends the year with 42 partner institutions and around 4,500 recruitment agent partners
MSM HigherEd Pathways Program launched
MSM Appoints Matthew Larventz As VP for Government Relations
MSM signs up new partners in Ireland (CCT Dublin Ireland) and New Zealand (Lincoln University)
MSM appoints May Arthur as VP of MSM GMO-US
MSM appoints Suneetha Qureshi as President of MSM GMO
